The Bayside Campsites offer the simple pleasure of island camping – unpowered sites set between rainforest and sea, with nothing between you and the beach but a few metres of sand.
This is camping the way it used to be. Pitch your tent, unplug and let the rhythm of the island take over. Days are spent swimming, walking the trails and watching the light shift across Brammo Bay. Nights are quiet, with the sound of the water and a sky full of stars.
Campsites are unpowered and guests need to be completely self-sufficient, including food and drinking water. It’s a low-impact experience designed to protect the island’s fragile ecosystem while giving you space to slow down and enjoy what’s here.

The facilities are shared, located at the nearby amenities block with flushing toilets and hot showers.
Guests can park at Hideaway Holiday Village in Mission Beach for $10 per night, payable direct on arrival.
