Licuala Lodge

Mission Beach

Licuala Lodge Award-Winning Rainforest B&B

Licuala Lodge is an award-winning 4-star bed and breakfast set within World Heritage rainforest, just 1.5 kilometres from Mission Beach. This traditional Queenslander timber pole home offers guest accommodation separate from the main house, surrounded by magnificent tropical gardens that attract scores of birds, butterflies — and the endangered Southern Cassowary, which visits daily.

Named after the iconic Licuala fan palm found in the local rainforest, the lodge is famed for its peace, serenity, exceptional breakfast, and the magical experience of watching cassowaries wander through the garden.

Note: Children must be 10 years or older. This is a quiet property (quiet hours 10pm–7am).
